![]() The company told her and every other team leader that virus screws were one of the few ways to permanently kill a disassembly drone, specifically traitors. ![]() The spire was on the fire, and the arsonist who had made it so was a walking corpse. But J had no means to defend herself and could only watch as his hand came forward, punching the side of her head and knocking her to the ground. "Well, if the method you used last time restored mine then." Out of the corner of her eye though, J noticed that he seemed to be raising his arm, causing her to be clued in to what he was about to do. You're in the same predicament as I was." Predicament? Now what was he talking about? N then let out a small, but pained, chuckle. But after that it was just nothing, everything seemed to have just gone black after that moment, with her waking up here. J knew that she had argued with V about something earlier, something that she didn't particularly agree with in the slightest. "What are you talking about?" she asked nervously. But what stood above all of her other thoughts at that moment was not how or why N was alive. Though she wished it wasn't real, she now had no doubts that the drone in front of her was in fact her former subordinate, now risen from the grave. "Did you feel regret when you killed V?" he snared at her his tone shifting for the first time and causing J to flinch. The voice was the exact same as N's, but it had to be impossible. "Do you feel regret, J? Do you feel regret for any of the victims you've killed?" he whispered to her. When the drone finally approached her, he sat down in front of her, filling her screen with static. J tried to slink back as far as she could, but found that it was pointless with her already touching the wall. He then suddenly got up, and began walking over to her. In a way, it was my punishment for all the killing I've done. You found out I killed him and are probably one of the few idiots who thought I was being "too hard on him" right?" J knew she needed to distract the drone for as long as possible if she wanted freedom to be insured, even if the drone's comments were unsettling. she quickly flickered the thoughts out of her head, and began working on trying to untie herself. This had to be some sort of joke, because the only one she ever did that to. Every single day." J felt her servos heat up at this comment. She would probably be biting off her tail or something dumb like that. ![]() Sure, she didn't have V, but that psycho would have just made things worse. Not to mention, I already took down a traitor, you should be no problem." J felt like she could get out of this situation easily. "How about this, you let me go now, or I'll be forced to reduce you to scrap like those sentient toasters. There was just no way, viruses proved to be successful in shutting them down and the company never screwed up with their tools unlike some people. She could think of a few drones who would do something like this, excluding one of them since she knew he was dead. A male disassembly drone in her territory that had tied her up. Where had she heard that voice before? Eventually, J managed to sit up right once more, now even more focused on the figure. For some reason, his tone had rang with familiarity. "You're pathetic." the drone muttered with a male voice. The head didn't contain much oil, but it provided enough to shut her systems up for now. Panicking, J once again scoured the room, eventually noticing a head on the ground next to her, was that what the other drone threw? It didn't really matter, as J instantly went to bite on it, falling to the ground in the process. It felt like she was in the sun on a very hot day, not that she had ever felt such a thing. J was even more confused, but could now feel the heat pressure within her increasing. Suddenly, an alert popped on her screen, informing her that her oil capacity was at 10%. V! J quickly surveyed the room, but no sign of her teammate was present. Maybe one of the other squads decided to take out her and V. She guessed that they were also the one who tied her up. However, her visor was glitching out and labeling the figure as an error, but from what she could tell, they were tall enough to be a disassembly drone and had the limbs of one. She noticed a figure sitting across from her in a tucked position. J struggled to get out of the bonds for a good few seconds until suddenly, she heard a loud exasperated sigh and turned toward its direction. "What the hell?" she muttered in confusion. J looked behind her to see that her tail had been wrapped tightly around her arms, preventing any use of her weapons and equipment. Instead, all she found was resistance and the feeling of something holding her arms together. She let out a large yelp and instinctively put her hand up to her head, or at least she tried to. J awoke with a start, accidentally hitting her head on the wall behind her in recoil of something hitting her face.
